i know nothing of the 4 speed trans, but im thinking about swapping that in instead of a T-5.

question are they really hard to come by and are they expensive?
what mods have to be done?
will old 3 speed linkages work?

 

i had one that i had bought for 350 bucks that was rebuilt, but i heard that they cant take all that much power. from what ive heard it seems that and the t-5 can withold about the same amount of power..

 

my thought process on this is that the 4 speed will be less of a head ache trying to finagle in there.

power should not be a problem, because i have none. and i dont plan on making much.
