Default nottt goood (pics on page 2!)

i went to the paint shop this morning to check up on my car which was suppose to be done this afternoon but turns out it hasnt been painted yet. im a little dissapointed but he said monday for sure it will be done. since it wasnt painted yet i just decided to add some stripes. my car will be metallic charcoal with 2 black stripes, the stripes will have 2 pinstripes on each side of each stripe haha confusing? ill post a pic of what the stripes will look like.

Sorry to hear that your car wasn't painted yet. But the color scheme sounds awesome. Post some pics when it is done.

Gee. I never herd that before....Mine was done a year after it was promised....There all the same. As soon as there is insurance work, your car gets pushed back a spot. Mine was in the body shop so long, the owner is now a close friend of mine...Hope yours gets done next week so you can enjoy it soon.

do you think those kind of stripes with the pinstripes would look good on a 66? i know it looks amazing on a 67-68.

it'll look good (even though it's black/grey!!!) but i would put the stripes closer together. AND IMPORTANT!!!!! take the pony out of the middle of the grille!!! i do't know why, but cars with stripes and a bunch of emblems just don't look right. I'm in the process of filling just about every (emblem) hole on my car!!!

I know how you feel man. My car has been in primer with the engine bay and jambs painted for almost 5weeks. Should be finished with paint today. We'll see.
