Default Blast.... Before or After Major Body Work?

Ok, this may be a dumb question, but I can't find the answer anywhere.

Q: Should I blast the disassembled car BEFORE I do major body work or AFTER?

In support of BEFORE, is that it makes it obvious what work is required and how much metal to remove.

In support of AFTER, is that I don't have to prime the car until after the body work is complete. (Blasting before body work will require primer to prevent rust)

The car is a '66 Stang that has major rust problems. Replacement list includes: frame rails, trunk, quarters, wheel wells, etc.

My dad blasted his truck first and then we started the body work.

I did alot of the major repaies like trunk floor, drivers quarter and floor pan before I blasted then I found alot more repair work after I blasted. I would probly recomend blasting it first.
