Default Front Shocks

I'm doing the "Shelby Drop", and cutting my springs on my 66 about 1 inch. What shock does everyone like?? I was thinking KYS Gas-A-Just (It's gonna be a mild street car with a vintage road racer type look)....but any other opinions???

If your doing a Shelby drop why are you cutting the springs as well? Doing both will give you a a big drop on the front ed but you'll also need special ball joints that have extended play over stock ball joints, cant remember what they're called at the moment, but if you stick with stock you can snap them if you bottom out or turn to hard.

That is correct. Just make sure your rubber bump stops at the outer shock tower reinforcement are in good condition and contact the top side of the ball joint bump when the suspension is fully compressed.
