that would fit pretty well on a 289 in a 66 coupe? im looking in the direction of patriot tri-y headers...they are pretty cheap, and seem to have good performance. anyone else know of a better header?

Shorties are generally easier to install. Long tube headers sometimes interfere with power steering, cable clutches, etc....

Headman makes a decent cheap header.

^ but there is always a price to pay for ending up with a better product right?

i hear lots of good things about the patriot tri-y's, but you can never ever go wrong with hooker supercomps

Ford Powertrain. Period. You pay for them, but fit and finish is very good. I'm not at home atm, but I'll post a pic later showing how well FPA's tuck in under the car.
