Default Fan shroud question

I just got a 3 row radiator for my 65, I have a shroud but I think it might be the wrong one because it overlaps my radiator. What size do you need to get for a 289 with a 3 row in it?

If you are referring to overlapping on the sides, that's somewhat correct. That's where you mount and secure the shroud. Four screw nuts, two each side. I used a 4 blade flex fan with mine and it's the perfect combination.

BTW, you might have to shave a little plastic off the bottom of the shroud, around the radiator hose to get a good fit, otherwise your fan might hit the bottom inside of the shroud.

no i can't find one that's correct i even took it up to mustangs unlimited and they don't even sell one that fits the 3-row radiator i bought up there. it's about 17 inches accross and they had a fiberglass one for 95 bucks that was close but not quite right being about 18 inches and a 35 dollar one i have that doesn't fit well at all.
