Default Great interior dash set-up

I am a member of several Mustang sites, and one of the members of another site posted this pic of his dash. Man, what a great looking gauge set-up for a 65.

Interesting, but not for me.

I like the pillar pod, but the center portion looks a bit too much like a gorgia okeeffe painting with a couple gauges stuck in there, if you know what I mean.

That's the gauge pod Shelby used in his '65 models. Never cared for it myself; so I'm making my own. I'm nearly finished... It houses a couple of the 2" gauges and mounts into the same area of the crashpad.

Oh, and naulin: still chuckling over the Gorgia O'Keefe remark!

I dunno...
That's getting kinda back to the whole Georgia O'Keefe thing, isn't it?

I find it interesting that people have been trying for 40 years to fix the problems with the 66 and older dash setup that were fixed in 67 and 68.

However most 67-68 didn't have tachometers. I have seen countless pics of guys' pictures of their tach mounted on the steering wheel post, and they just look real dumb to me. At least this is a well designed place to put the tach.
