Sometimes it's....
Let's see...
"Unique Items"
1. Chevy Distributor
2. 55-57 Chevy Master Cylinder
3. "Custom" 3" Stainless exhaust that runs UNDER the rear axle.
4. 65-66 rearend (can put bigger than 10" wide wheels on my car)
5. Zip ties to hold the radiator on the car.
6. 351W stickers for my 302. (doesn't that make it faster?)
7. Front springs that were cut to lower the ride. Then welded AND clamped to make sure they stayed together.
8. Mach 1 interior and woodgrain plus a woodgrain convertible center console.
9. floor mounted Autometer Tach
10. GT gas cap so my inspector could call it a "GT"
11. 429 Hood just because...
12. New suspension that really was the original (inspector must have missed this too...hmmm.)
13. Working horn (according to inspector) even though there are no horns in the car.
14. A/C car (according to inspector) minus the heater core and condenser oh and anything else needed under the hood to make it work.
15. Electronic fuel pump that leaked onto the "Custom" 3" exhaust.
16. Lakewood Traction Bars, that inspector referred to as "Custom Suspension".
17. Battery drain on the car from "mashing the brakes" and the drving lights coming on.
18. No rear brakes (due to older chevy master cylinder on the car)
19. New Windshield Wiper motor with no windshield wiper switch (electric fuel pump switch in place of something worthless like wipers...)
20. Inspection shows VIN Plate to be Valid and unaltered. (for a 3 speed {now AOD} Sportroof that inspector refers to as a GT)
21. FM/AM CD Radio (minus speakers)
22. Oh and the ultimate comment "the vehicle has been completely rebuilt with a new engine, suspension, floor boards and disc brakes (which only work on the front).
23. Custom "redneckish" running pony on the rear window. (vinyl does add speed/custom look?)
24. Was told it had an exhaust header leak that needed welding. Pulled the headers and they were cracked and the flange and had been welded (attempted) several times.
That's most of what we've found so far.

Dude. Whoa. haha!
My car was originally a Winter Blue Grande black plates coupe, 302 2v. I garaged all the original parts, from the door sils to the windshield. Most of the mods are cosmetic, but here goes from the bottom up:
15 x 9 and 15 x 7 white letter radials
Cragar SSs w/spinnners
680 coils, HD 5 leaf springs, Konis, sway bars. 1' extended shackles.
4 row all brass Modine rad
Edelbrock 650 AVS 4v elec choke
Tranny cooler
9" 3.50 gears
2.75" duals
Mach 1 hood scoop, made functional/K&N flow top air cleaner
Mach 1 paint application
Mach 1 spoilers, rear has 1" chopped pedestals
Sportsroof ornaments
Chrome console inset
Trunk and engine mercury switch lights
1966 day-nite chrome RV mirror and pedestal
1965 sim woodgrain steering wheel (coming)
Wheel well and rocker panel molding/chrome engine dress-up stuff
Hood mounted chrome Autotech tach
Sony 3 way 6x9 package tray speakers, In-Dash stereo front speakers.
100w amp for factory AM/FM stereo. It has been used daily for 40 years. Whoa.
Sequential LED tail lights. They are awesome.
Halogen headlamps
Quarter window decals are actually from 1969
Modern Carlite windshield with visor
Door mounted cup holders, dyed to match interior trim
ODD MOD: The sports mirrors, which are identical to the actual Mustang sports mirrors from 1969, are actually sports mirrors from a 1969 Ranchero. The only physical difference is that the pass mirror has a remote on a 7" long cable to reach the center dash/console area. Strange but true.

You have a beautiful car Carlos. I'm looking at adding the sequential LED taillights to my car not only for the looks but the safety factor.
I also have the Halogen headlights.
On a big positive note. There is no rust on the car and it's still a fastback/sportroof.
