Default side exaust on 68 mustang?

I'm building a 68 mustang shelby and I'm almost done with the body finish but I can't decide if I should do "side exaust" or to go "straight to the back" what you guy opinion?
I already have the side skirt install eleanor type, but if I decide to go to the back i will just cover the exaust hole re-shape it in a flare style since I'm installind and irs suspencion
that will stick out a little.

You're not putting an eleanor kit on an actual GT350/500, are you?

Can't be, he wouldn't do that!

To your question, I personally don't like the side exhaust, but you already installed the panels, so go with it and install the side exhaust. It might look a bit pimped with those big rocker skirts and no functional exhaust.

no it not a real shelby just a regular fastback that I'm cloning into a shelby with eleanor hood and the flares and the skirt, along with a already install 04 4.6 terminator motor
my next proyect is to install the irs, fuel tank to get it running
I just want to find out if is a good idea to do a side exaust

fakesnakes..I could alway change the shape of the exaust hole like the rest of the skirt
with a tad of a flare since is fiberglass.

i wish I new how to post pic to show how it looks now at this moment

Not to be an ***, but that's not a shelby clone. A clone is an identical copy of an original. What you're building is a restomod. Definitely sounds like a scary car, though, with that terminator motor. Good luck with it

if it were ME i would just run 2 tubes from each header collector out the side, no muffler, nuthin

but i like loud

make sure you run an eaton or a kenne bell, an eleanor with the death whine would be sehks
