Talking 5 speed

i have a 66 mustang with a 302 auto in it i want to put a 5.0 5 speed in it what do i need please help looking to do it soon.

Call up Modern Driveline and get a quote from them. They'll detail to you your options and should be able to sell you everything you need.

I'm assuming the motor has already been switched out, seeing as you said 302 and not 289. Good news, either way, block is the same so your mounts shouldn't hinder your install.

I personally like the Tremec T5 and there is an install kit for it (see ModernDriveline link above) which will help you along your way.

Are you doing a carb'd 302 or EFI 302? Just curious which way you're going with you swap.

the tranny i have came out of a 95 5.0 i dont know what kind it is

Errr....that won't work. The 94-95 transmissions use a shorter input shaft and aren't easily adaptable for use in a classic.

you would also need teh clutch pedal set up. i have one if you dont already have one
