Default Passenger side mirror

Anyone able to tell me the location for the larger main and 2 screw holes for the passenger side mirror? How far back from the front of the door. I know it gets mounted farther back then the drivers side due to the vent windows being in the way. Need to drill these holes this week as our car had the drivers side only. I picked up a set of remote mirrors (both sides) off an 82 Grand Marquis a few weeks ago. Thanks

I have mirrors from a 69 Ranchero, which are identical to Mustang mirrrors, except they are both remote.

Seriously though, are you sure the side mirrors don't start at the same point from the front of the door? The car is othewrwise completely symmetrical except for the radio antenna and the wipers.

If the passenger side mirror is placed in the same location as the drivers then I *believe* that the vent window column obstructs the viewing from the drivers seat. Unfortunately my doors are currently gutted as is the entire car so I cant tell for sure.
Anyone with 2 mirror able to verify one way or the other? We want to cut the holes in the next day or so. Thanks.
