Default Tomorrow should be pretty cool.

I have a guy that is flying into town to do a photo shoot tomorrow. He is going to submit an article to Mustang Enthusiast and with any luck I will have it printed some time this winter or spring. I can't wait! The only problem is the weather. It is likely to rain tomorrow. Who ever said you can't drive a convertible in the rain.

Maybe today is not a fun as I thought it would be. I just found out that the company I work for (Wachovia Securities) was just purchased by Wells Fargo. Here we go again ..............................................

The bank was purchase on Monday by Citi. The rest of the company, including the brokerage unit stayed in place as Wachovia Corportation. Wells Fargo just offered a large premium to the Citi price and it was for the entire company. So to recap, the weather kind of sucks but that will likely get better later today but the job situation will be chaotic for about a year.

Wink

It's about the get worse. I work for Smith Barney (owned by Citigroup) and they are going to fight the Wells Fargo Purchase since they had an agreement beforehand to buy the bank portion.

What a fun and exciting time to be working in the finance industry.

Oh and let us know when the magazine is coming out (when you know). I'd love to read an article on your car.

Good luck with the weather. It rains a lot there but at least it does not rain long or hard most days.

I live near Charlotte and the entire Wachovia deal is going to hurt a lot of businesses that Wachovia subs work out to (support, janitorial, ect) I would try to pull out of the citi group deal to since they were going to buy for 2.1 billion and wells fargo offered 15 billion I believe...
