Default 69 Mach 1 differential

I am unsure if the original 9" is still on my car. Is there an easy way to determine a 9" from others? I cannot locate a fill plug and there is no axle tag.

If you can fit a box end wrench on all of the diff carrier nuts, it's an 8". If you can't (have to use an open-end wrench on a couple), it's a 9".

9" has a big hump in the casing, i don't think the 8" does.
