Just curious and I KNOW it won't be accurate across the board as applications, gearing yatta yatta yatta is different. But I was wondering what you guys run in the quarter. I was at the track tonight watching and saw a guy with a 66, claimed he had around 300 to the rear wheels and was running mid 12's. I thought that was pretty quick but his application was so near mine that it made me wonder. Only difference in drivetrain really was his 9inch with I believe he said 3.53's and a three speed... Just curious what you all think.

 

i have around 300 rwhp, probably more if i tuned / timed the car right and i'm running 12s in a 67.

forgot to mention

i have 3.73's on a c4

old combo was a 289 with less hp and 3.08's with the C4.. it was a dog. with the 289 the 3.73's woke it up and with this 331 it screams.

 

i have around 300hp but ive never been to the track with it i know i wouldnt be running those times as i have 2.80 gears and they hold me back big time, i want a traction lock rear end with 3.55's

 

Hey thanks guys for the replies. I guess it is possible. Just seemed like too little hp for the time. But yeah, right now the rear and the gearing are holding me back from anything. I only have an 8" with lord knows what gears. I really need to clean up the 9" and tuck her home.
