Just keep in mind if you decide to upgrade to them you really should replace all the wiring for the headlight circuit, HIDs draw more amps than the stock stuff during startup before they settle down.

when you say replace, do you mean put stronger wire or just put new wires.

I would think thicker wire and add some relays in there. If you do install HID post some pics. Would like to know what you use since I have been thinking of doing the same thing.

We're leaning towards this also though it'll be next spring before I'll be at that point so haven't looked into it yet.

If you get a cheap set of HID's, they get their power from the headlight plug. A good set of HID's will have its own power wire to the battery and use the headlight plug for a trigger. The relays and ballast step up the power.

It's not hard to wire your own relays in for the headlight circuit.

+1 It would be really easy to add in a couple relays to keep from burning up the factory wiring. You just use the factory stuff as the trigger wires to turn the relays on.

Default Glad you asked, love em.

I installed 6000K HIDs for around $100.00 with bulbs and projector housing. LOVE them. The only problem is that you will either have to buy bi-zenon, because you will not be able to have hi-beams in the same bulb. The HID bi-zenon usually have a secondary bulb glued into the projector to use as high beams. Or, you could go without hi-beams or wire them into your fog lamps.

If you're worried about wiring, then like someone said earlier, most places that sell the HIDs offer an additional wiring harness to hook directly to the battery for about ten dollars.

I got the HIDs and then the sequential LEDs in back, they both look awesome.

PS. Make sure you are aware of the highbeam switch, because when the switch is on, the headlights will be off.
