You need new brakes, new rear end, probably a tranny, new exhaust, 5 lug front end, at least....

Pull the engine and tranny, drop the whole thing in and get a driveshaft made.. i would consider the breaks, rear end and 5 lug too but you could start breaking early, run open manifolds and hope for the best with the rear end... i would not recommend it but if you live in a city like i do where nobody really cares and people rig cars all the time it will be cool until something breaks or catches on fire... good luck man, its not impossible and when you get everything done it will be worth it...

You're going to have big fitment problems with any 351C or M (most likely what's in the 1974). Even the 351w will have issues. Plus you have to change the trans, suspension, brakes and rear diff to handle the power. Just soup-up the I6, or sell both and get a v8 car, much easier.

How much power can you get out of a 351W? I have 69 pickup with a 351w in it and was wondering how much power you can get out of that motor w/ FI or Nitious.
