I have a 66 I6 mustang with original power steering. I know I need a new steering box, but how do I know if I need a new p/s valve? The car was hard to turn at low speeds when I drove it the few times I did before started on the restoration. Might this also mean I would want to rebuild my pump also?

 

without having performed a pressure output test it's hard to condem one or the other but it could have a bad pump
