Default Classic insurance coverage

Can anyone point me in the right direction for classic insurance coverage? Been pursuing google but there are so many options. I currently utilize All State for my DD but I am not sure if they will do Classic coverage.

I have my '65 fastback insured through State Farm with my other vehicles, house, umbrella policy, etc. It is about $140/6 months and there are no driving restrictions. Give your agent a call and see what they can do.

then the regular insurance places. some arent bad others are a rip. for me being 23 and the car valued at $30k nationwide wanted just as much for the mustang to be a rarely driven car as my monte costs as a DD. Granted i think a lot of that is the lady doesnt seem to bright

You could always try Americn Modern. I don't have any experience with them but they advertise on Mecum a lot. It's worth taking the time to get a quote.

All State will cover your classic car in 1 of 2 ways. Either as a regular car on your insurance or as a broker through Hagerty as they are an authorized carrier for them. If you go through All State as a regular DD have your car appraised independently and tell them you want to carry that amount for the mustangs policy. If you don't and its involved in an accident they go by their value of a 40 year old car.. ie, your screwed. Be aware that the higher your car is valued by the appraisal the higher the rate will be.
If you have them add it on as a broker for Hagerty's you'll still need to meet all of Hagerty's restrictions like the car must be stored in a locked garage, limited mileage, etc.

I have All State myself and was told that to add our car on as a DD to our existing policy, unlimited mileage, valued at 30,000 it would be an extra 375.00 every 6 months. Both the wife and I have the highest ratings with no infractions which helps I'm sure.

Thanks to all...I went around the middle man and went straight to Hagerty. I am currently awaiting for my application to be reviewed and approved. Hopefully it doesn't take too long. I wanna drive my new baby.
