How well an 88 302 with forged dish pistons and stock rods and crank will hold up to a 125 shot of nitrous? He's got a 303 cam and aluminum heads on it too. Don't remember the heads specs off the top of my head though.

Looking at an 88GT set up for drag for the most part and it was sprayed 3 times. You guys seem to be the most knowledgeable on here, so I figured I'd throw it out there for you guys.

Nitrous will shorten the life of the engine components for sure. If its already built for nitrous then obviously it works right? I'd take it to a qualified shop to have it looked at before purchasing.

No, if anything it was run rich, he said he's got it tuned rich so it doesn't lean out.

You can smell it too, it isn't ridiculous, but you can tell she's been set rich

The rod is by far the most highly stressed component. I would not do this without good aftermarket rods. If a rod goes, ALL money and effort that you put into the engine goes. In the long run, a $500 set of rods is cheap insurance.
