Default Shattered Window in Washington, DC

Well, some jackass broke both passenger windows and mirror on my '69. Nothing was stolen; I empty the car and leave the doors unlocked so my top doesn't get cut. Need some paint work on the door as well. I can't help but to think it was just malicious due to either the DoD sticker on the front or Georgia plate on the rear--gotta love living in DC...

Any recommendtions on shops in the DC or northern Virginia area? Thought I would try to upgrade the passenger side to '70 bolt-in glass then do the driver's side when I can afford it. Has anyone used the bolt-in window kit from Mustangs Unlimited? Searching the forum shows different opinions on having to change the regulators, it is a different part number but I can't see the difference. Ideas? Pictures? Recommendations?

Thanks in advance!

Oh, I lived in DC for a year or so, it was fun, but wild.

One time I stayed in a high rise Days Inn just a few blocks from the convention center and maybe four or five blocks from the capitol. They locked the doors of the hotel at 9 PM and had an armed guard. I was going to walk down to a nearby convenience store but the desk clerk told me I did not want to do that. I did watch out the window though as hookers were picked up by Lincoln Town Cars, Cadillacs, and Mercedes. As if that was not bad enough the clerk told me those were the transvestite hookers.
Our nation's capitol. Gotta love it.

Sorry for your bad luck! I hope you didn't have Sun-X glass - it may be hard to find.

The last time I drove my Bronco into DC, I almost needed to switch to 4WD - the roads were so bad. I avoid it like the plague now.

I can't help with the glass, but you may check with your local Mustang Club. Someone shuld be able to help there.

If you mean the Days Inn stay, No. Probably '96 or '97.
