Exclamation OMG. YES ANOTHER ENGINE BUILD CHANGE!!!!!!

As the title describes I've decided on anther engine build and unless some super parts come down to this price range I'm sticking with it, the reason I'm doing this is because I'm gonna put the Windsor in a recently acquired 1991 ford F-150 XLT lariat so here is the new build!!!!!!!! =)

new cam
ok so that's the cam and here is what is pretty close to what it is going to sound like just even more rougher
tha thump
o and it's the muthat thumr one
block: standard early block

the rotating assembly

the heads[

0the intake

the carb kit

flywheel

balancer

pulleys

clutch

bellhousing

and a good ol' new processes 435 4-speed trans to complete the package!!!!!!

So does anyone wanna guess about how much hp and torque it'll make?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

The head link you posted shows both the 10 degree and 18 degree heads. I guess you are going with the 18 degree?

Good choice on the cam. The lack of zinc in current motor oils makes a flat tappet risky.

You might be happier with a Holley 4150HP series carb over the Dominator unless you are building for 1/4 mile racing.

Quicktime makes a better bellhousing, imo, that is already indexed.

So what tranny?

Post lots of pictures as the parts show up. I love this stuff!

best part about the list is the "very rough idle" cam

If you will use Comp Cams lifters and Comp Cams break in lube and then use the break in lube for the next few oil changes THEN thereafter use Chevron Delo, Mobil Delvac or Shell Rotella T, you will have no trouble with flat tappets. These oils still have the zinc and keep the engine squeaky clean as well.

well this is really just a "just because i can" build so a dominator is my preference, anyways i don't have a clue on hp so anyone wanna take a stab at the numbers?

Will that intake work with windsor heads?

I'll say 550 hp at the fw

well it's gonna get up around 7 so i went with the best flywheel, and the intake is for the same cylinder heads, the trans is not going to be a 435 but a toploader

That is a hydraulic roller cam, so there is no way it will see 7k, more like 6k before the lifters start to compress and the valves float. You also should have an aftermarket block as taking a stock 351w to 427 is risky, particularly if you want it to live at high rpm. At any rate, I guess 505 FWHP at 6200 rpm. Do I win a big prize if I'm correct?
