No real pupose here but I reached a significant point today. The repaired right front fender got reinstalled and fit perfectly. That was the last body repair. I still need to sand the passenger door and quarter and the roof, remove the door handles and side ornaments...and then its off to the paint shop...finally.
And to think when I bought this car I was just going to sand it and have it painted. Ended up removing the front body, ripped out aluminum and heavy bondo patches in all four fenders and replaced them with proper repro patches, virtually rebuilt the front fenders and fender braces, and on and on and on. And this car is not even restored...It is just repaired.
And I have loved every last second of it!

Even the most bullet riddled, disassembled, crap Mustang you could find is a work of art. I think the artist though had a different thought...as in dead Mustang. Anyway, I found it interesting.

Nice!

I'm jealous, you get to work on your car. Mine is in storage 500 miles away.

Just imagine the fun you'll have when you're done with it. It'll be a new car.

If that makes you jealous this ought to bring tears to your eyes...I actually took the whole week off just to work on the Mustang. Had one more week of vacation to use or lose, so I am using it. It's a rough week...work on the car all I want...screw around on the internet all I want...go to the cell store and upgrade my Razor to a Blackberry Curve...tough life huh?

That's what I was thinking, acid dipped then primed...Hmm, so if I do that with my '69 I could be a famous artist!
