Default Drum is stuck

What am I missing...the passenger side drum came off with zero effort and the driver side seems like it is seized to the axle. I banged at the drum with a bfh and it wont budge.

your gonna have to adjust the shoes in. "The adjuster" can be reached from the hole in the back of the drum with with a standard screw driver so you can turn the teeth of the adjuster.

Yeah, sometimes the drums develop a lip that makes it difficult to get them off of the shoes. Adjust the shoes in, then go back at it with the BFH. Use a deadblow hammer if you have one.

Two prybars on either side of drum and pull toward you after adjusting the shoes inward.

Just a question if you don't mind me hijacking your thread. I am having the same problem, the drum will spin freely so I don't see why I would need to back the pads off, would the aforementioned "lip" keep them from coming off if using a BFH? Also, the haynes mentions "tinneman" (sp) nuts? Would these be located on the wheel studs if they are present? Thanks.
