Default Fuel Pressure Regulator

OK so I have way too much pressure 10-11 lbs. I need a regulator but I have never had one. They look pretty straight forward but where do you mount them? I know between the pump and carb. but what is a good physical location?

I usually stick mine on the firewall. Some racing groups may not allow it though if you plan on running it on the track.

Correct, your not allowed to mount any fuel related on the fire wall. The best place is on the inner fender with the next place being on the motor.

I'd think the d-side inner fender would be a prime location, just above the fuel pump.

What kind of fuel pump are you running that you're getting that much pressure?
