Default Coolant Question

A while back I mentioned that 2 of my coolant hoses broke off from the radiator. I now know those hoses went to the tranny. Since they don't go the the actualy engine, does that mean it's ok to run the engine as long as I stay in Park?

Yes you can, if you loop the one line to the other so that the trans fluid can come out and back through. Do not block off the lines. This is also the lubrication pathway. And don't drive until you get it fixed correctly.
