Standard 429/460 ports are huge anyway.

The head here has the standards ports while the gasket is the CJ size

Standard post size is 2.18x1.87-inch
CJ is 2.51x2.11

yea about the size of the gasket this is what makes me wonder because i have a set of cj gaskets and it matches the intake and the cj exhaust gaskets match the exhaust ports so i wonder if some one had a friend at ford or something?

The d9te-ab 429/460's are 1979 up production blocks.

yea i know that d=70's, 9=1979, but the intake and exhaust ports are cobra jet sized and i think it is stock because the pollution stuff was still on the motor, i mean it just doesn't make sense that you would port a set of heads to cj standards and then rob the horsepower with the STOCK pollution stuff!

Well, the casting numbers for the heads are right over the exhaust port.
Measure the intake ports.
