Good to know. There are other tranny specialists out there though.

Yes. AstroPerformance has their own kit, and I believe American Powertrain is the name of one of the site sponsors that supplies beefed up T5's and other 5sp conversion kits.

I haven't been able to talk to my buddy yet. I will try and get a hold of him today. I think he wanted 300 bucks for the t5 and i believe it is from the mid 90's. It might be worth it to beef up the t5 instead of buying the TKO. Like said before though, Its not worth buying twice. Its a hard choice cuz of the price of the TKO's but I have witnessed a tranny grenading before so I should probably do a little more research

I can promise you a 5 speed is well worth it and we would be glad to help you put something together. Please feel free to send me any questions you might have, give us a call, or visit our website. This is my dad's business and he knows much about this then I do, I'm just trying to help him out. If I can't answer it I'll pass it on to him and we'll get you an answer.

We do all kinds of driveline work, engines, rears, transmissions. We can do the fitting and installation, custom components, etc...
We are a Tremec dealer and stock TKO 500s, 600s, T56s as well as T5's of various strengths. We are a Ram clutch distributor and can help you with components for a hydralic set up or mechanical, whichever you would prefer.
We can help you put together a set up that works for you and match it to your specific set up.
