Default T5 Dimensions and Weight

I may have stumbled upon a really good deal for a t5, only $150 for the bellhousing and everything. It came out of a 5.0 LX, I'm not sure of the year but I will get the casting number to clear that up. The only problem is it is back home in Detroit so I will need to ship it out to myself while I'm at home for Christmas. I was trying to get a quote from UPS to get it shipped. I have been told it weights around 80 pounds so it falls in their normal rates because its below 150lbs. I also estimated it to be 4'x2'x'1 for dimension. How close am I for the dimensions, I need to know if its worth it to ship.

I was quoted about $80 for those specs.

its closer to 3 x 2 x 1. weight is pretty close

most of the bulk is the bell housing... It might be cheaper to ship the bell separately.
You might consider looking for a local bell on Craig's list and not shipping the one you have at all....Probably won't come out ahead and 80 is not too bad anyhow.

Thanks Gun, I was hoping I was over estimating on the dimension. But with the looking at the local craigslist, I have been doing that for months now. In my area and multiple surrounding areas there isn't a single listing for a t5, that is why I was considering picking up the fox. I exhausted my local options and if I go further I will be paying the same for shipping as I would be for gas. I'm going home and Detroit is very convenient to pick up domestic car parts, especially parts people remove for better drag racing parts. And I imagine if I offer the guy $100 cash he will part with it considering the hard times back home.

And Monster I did consider that, military so I don't have to pay the extra bag fee.
