Question sorry in advance... how do I change the oil in a 1970 351v 2v

I just got a 1970 mustang fastback that needs a bit of work. I have a problem though - where the heck does the oil go in on a 351c 2v?

On the valve covers I have a hose running to the carb on the front right one; there is a nut on the back left one. Thanks for the help.

well to drain the oil there is a nut on the bottom of the oil pan, just undo it and then change the filter as well which is on the driver side.

To fill the oil just pour it in the valve cover. That hose running from the carb to the front right one (driver side) should do just fine, it's what I use. Just undo the cap and pour it in, be sure to have a funnel though, or you can be like me and take some cardboard and make a funnel yourself

You forgot about putting the nut back on when done draining and putting a new oil filter on.

The oil can go in any one of the holes in the valve covers (mine has 4).
I just plugged one of them on the passengers side with a rubber plug and push-in breather the rear.
On the driver's side I put on a removable cap in the front (easiest to get to without a funnel) and a push-in breather on the back.

Thanks, guys. BA Mustang, I will assume that was a joke (I'm really not totally retarded, just never owned a vehicle without an "Engine oil" icon...). Thanks again.

Yeah it was. I was in your spot when I got my 67. My first car so I had no idea where to put the oil in.

There was a post going around where a guy literally flushed his engine. He drained the oil and then put the water hose in it and turned on the engine.
