Default Hood Pins

Well I am going to install the hood pins tomorrow and still don't know where to put them. Should I put them on the radiator support or replace the hood bumpers with them?

Put them on the radiator support, you will still need the hood bumpers to set the height of the hood.

Heres how I done one, use shock insulators to sit the hood height and it worked well. I will probably repete this on the 65. Its a little more strong than the radiator support and requires no drilling of the support.

i would just use the bumper, and to set the height, the pins are adjustable, and juse use fuel line over the pin to make the hood snug

Finished! It turned out very nice. Took the hood latch off while I was at it, whole lot easier to raise the hood now.
