Actually, you could get these decades ago on a new car. In fact, most of them came that way. The antenna was embedded in the windshield and ran up the center and then out to each side along the top.

My 76 Silverado has one of those in windsheild antenna. It is two copper wires that run up the middle and goes off to the side at the top.

If there's ANYBODY that posts on this WHOLE FORUM that can identify with your frustration, it's ME!

I've been married to a cat lover for 35 years this coming May. She obviously has other redeeming qualities or I wouldn't have made it this long.

Her cats have messed up stuff in my shop for all this time. I've just learned to deal with it and it has never been anything major. Probably the worst part is to work in the Texas heat washing and waxing a car and then finding a cat sitting on it.

I have been a serious car cover user for a little over 25 years. You think maybe the cats are the reason for that?

I have it on good authority that if you rip out the claws, a cat makes a great buffing pad.

I cannot believe the amount of support I have gotten from you guys. My girlfriend didn't believe me when I was telling her all of the suggestions you guys had on here. So to prove it to her I let her read all of them. I couldn't tell if they were tears of frustration or humor, guess I will be sleeping on the couch tonight!
