I've seen a few posts regarding Mustang Steve’s 13" Cobra disc brake conversion, but after doing a search, cannot find anyone actually using his product.

Has anyone used his set up?
If so, how are you liking it/them?

When looking through Ebay for rotors, I also found these guys: www.engineeredvelocity.com
Seems like a similar set up, but they offer a complete kit for $595, including calipers & rotors.

I really like the look of the larger brakes. Drilled and slotted is pretty cool too. So that is why I am looking to go this route

Been looking around - done the search. That is how I found the first two and others.

Thanks for the link on Wilwoods at Hot Rods USA. I have read good things about them, and they seem to be not too much more dollars.

its up to you theres many ways to get 4 wheel disc from oem style to full on race ones. just remember bigger rotors take longer to heat up so if you want to street drive it you should look at higher fiction pads

I have Mustang Steve's front and rear setup. I have not had a chance to install the front kit, but I did install the rear. Everything was fine except for the machined groove on the bearing retainers, they were cut too deep, causing bearing endplay, check out the link below for more info. He should have it under controll now, but with whatever kit you use measure the depth BEFORE you have the bearings pressed on, that way you can exchange the backing platesif defective.

i dont like the front kit from vintage venom the spacer between the hub and rotor i dont trust. for the rear id make sure the e brake is a drum style in the rotor not the cailper only kind

I agree the Vintage Venom front kit is a little sketchy, that is why I went with Mustang Steve's kit. But it is an option for the guys that are dead set on running SN95 mustang wheels.
