You should go ahead and paint the headlight buckets with the matte black to match that race car.

I will over the summer. I plan on painting the whole mustang soon.

If you are going to paint the whole, then you will have to sand like crazy anyway. Spray can paint the buckets for now!

I know. I had to help prep my dads truck for paint. Lots of sanding. My dad knows a guy that will soda blast the body, he did it to our truck for around $700, but he also sandblasted the frame of the truck.
