The stripes are definitely change widths as they are put down on the car. I think my body guy found them on the net somewhere. I know, not much help, but they do change width.

Ba must have been having a brain fart because he forgot to mention www.gullattsmustangs.com

they are a local early mustang salvage yard and restoration shop,

other than that there is not much in ways of classic parts or salvage yards,

my buddy owns Larry"s auto where he is restoring my 67 coupe

if you want to stop by his address is 11313 south parkway Huntsville Al 35803

he has been in the mustang scene for many years and is just getting back into restoration and rebuilding

i first met him when he did my 97 v6 to v8 swap and he was who i acquired my 67 coupe from!

for more info on the work he does check out here

Never think about gullatts. I still haven't gone to the shop yet. He told me to drop by one day, never have.

Pretty sure the Chip Foose designed CVS built "Eleanors" used in the movie has two strips, not three like the super snake.

The "Supersnake" appeared in 67 and was used for testing tires. It had a special set of strips, also the three stripe pattern was used on the "Trans Am" cars driven by Titus. The 427 powered GT500 Super Snake reached sustained speeds of 170MPH and was driven by Carroll himself, untill he left for a business meeting. He tossed the helmet to another driver and said get out there, nobody will ever know the difference. It was coined by the now defunked "Unique Performence". They do look good on the larger cars but I think they they overpower the 5 &6's. Here are the measurments for the "Le Mans"
Stripes.

Question

So, you guys think that the eleanor stripes are the same as the le mans stripes? Or are there other widths for the stripes used for a '67 Mustang coupe? And what about the gap between them?
