Um... Oh! I get, you're joking, right? For a second there I though you were serious.

Yes you can do it. Lots of work, but possible.

Yeh, rock on! I think its doable, actually very doable. They are a couple of AWD drive trains that may be retrofitted under a Mustang body. The "Sport Trac Adrenalin" or the Aussie "Typhoon" may be a good platform to start with. If you look around at the "Typhoon" you will see that they will make 500 HP with few mods. Talking about a STI duster, you would have one.

I thought the entire process through in my head one day. The end result was a Nissan Skyline . . >_<

I can't say that I am entirely opposed to a 4wd classic Mustang.

If you have to ask if its possible then for you it probably wouldn't be unless you wanted to throw down an ungodly ammount of money for someone else to do it. You can drop in any setup you want if you have the skills to do it. I have a book that has a mid engine mustang in it.

I was thinking the aussie version was all wheel drive, maybe I'm wrong. Chevy did make a typhoon like small suv. I was talking to a friend the other day about this. I'll try to rundown some info.

The gmc typhoon was a turbo charged AWD blazer. The cyclone was the same thing but an s-10 body. I wasn't familiar with an Aussie version which was why i asked. Just curious.
