i would venture to say no they are not the same and despite my utter lack of knowledge on the subject, i would say why chance it when clearances are majorly important down to the .00001"
All of the 302s from each respective maker are different. The only thing they have in common is the displacement, which even then is a stretch as the chevy 302 was really a 305. They did also make a 305 but it was not the same as the chevy 302.

Negative on the DZ being 305. The DZ was simply a 4 bolt Improved, 4" bore block with a 3 inch stroke crankshaft. Do the math and it comes out to 301.5 CI. It is highly likely that the race DZ's were prepared with a very slight overbore, since the TransAm class allowed 5.0 litres which is very close to 305CID.
The 305 was a 3 3/4" bore, 3.47" stroke. Again, do the math and you will see that it is actually 306 inches.
As far as parts interchangibility among the Ford and Chebby's, there are probably a few bolts on them here and there that might fit. Other than that, forget it.
