Idler Arm Help

Default Idler Arm Help

I can't seem to get this idler arm out. Here is a pic of the side that wont come off. The nut just wont budge....

Have you soaked with liquid wrench and tapped it?

PB blaster, breaker bar with a cheater pipe. or a very strong impact gun

you can try using a dremel with a cut off wheel to cut the nut. or another idea is use a propane torch to heat it up, then it should come off easy. id try the propane torch first.

Yeah, anything that increases your leverage, like a pipe, or a very strong impact gun. Like previously stated, you can apply heat or they have nut crackers, which minimize damage like a dremel might cause if it gets away from you. (I had to use one on my 66 to cut the nut off of my pitman arm)
