Default its been a while since ive been on here

well its been almost a couple months, but i would say almost a year that i have been on here. Ive been on another forum, but just wanted to say hi to everyone AGAIN lol.

anyways here the update so far, well last summer i was on a date and a taxi decided to rear end me in the back luckily it wasn't that bad (though the taxi drivers car was done!) long story short their Insurance company was rude/unhelpful and the body shop gave me a bad paint job...later i took the insurance company to ca dept of insurance and they decided to pay 3700 for body work/paint which i will take it soon. Just recently i installed my new motor that i finally built 331 stroker anyways enjoy!

here are some info on what ive done/and going to do:

331 Long Block Components

Cylinder Block: FORD 5.0 Roller Cam

Crankshaft: New Nodular Iron 3.250" Stroke

Connecting Rods: New 5140 Forged I-Beam W/ ARP Bolts and silicon bronze bushings

Pistons: KB FHR Forged aluminum, full floating pins.

Piston Rings : Child's & Albert performance plasma moly

Timing Set : .250 True roller with heat treated cam gear and billet steel crank gear

Camshaft: Comp Cams Hydraulic Roller #35-424-8

Cylinder Head Pro-Comp 60cc angle plug 190cc intake runner w/ 1.600 x 2.020 valves.

Valves: Comp Cams 2.02 intake and 1.60 exhaust polished stainless
Valve Springs Isky dual spring w/ steel retainer and Hp 7 degree locks.

Rocker Arms: RPS stainless steel full roller rocker w/ needle bearing fulcrum

Damper: Professional Products 28oz External Balance w/ dual 3 & 4 bolt pulley patterns.

Edelbrock Performer RPM Intake

Holley Street Avenger 675 cfm electric choke

Ford Racing "tall" Valve Covers

EXHAUST:
Headman shorty Headers 2.5 Collector

2.5 H-Pipe

Flowmaster 44 series turn downs (will be extended to the rear)
with some str8 angle tips


DRIVETRAIN:

Ford c-4 from performance Automatic transmission "street Fighter" up 450hp this transmission can take.

Hughes 2500 Stall Torque Converter

Stock Drive Shaft (will be replaced by an aluminum Drive shaft)

Rear End: Ford 8 posi (non posi, i believe the gears are 2:79 - 3:00 again the third member will be replaced with 3:55 gears. )

INTERIOR/AUDIO:

Standard black interior

Pioneer 400-ub cd/mp3/ipod deck.

rally 6x9's with tweeters

EXTERIOR:

Stock body will be re-prepped and painted with the same color but a little bit of more metallic.

American Racing polished Torque Thrust 17x8 4.75 B/S with Nexon Tires 235/45/r17 245/45/r17

SUSPENSION/BRAKES:

Front Heavy duty Granada front disc conversion

Stock Rear Drums.

New Upper and lower grab-a-track suspension

Kyb Gas-a-just shocks in front/air shocks in the rear (will be replaced with KYB's)

Stock Leafs (will be replaced with 4 1/2 mid eye's)

620 Springs

Universal Traction Bars from Lakewood

What kind of bodyshop can't tell the differentce in those silver paint shades? Post the name, they are idiots.

Holy crap! I could've done better and I don't paint! Glad to hear you got it set right though, that's rare these days. I love those wheels on that car, really set's it off.

yeah thanks everyone

and yeah its dan body shop in the bay area, i guess they were painting it in the dark when they were trying to blen it. but also they were charging up the *** just for that minor damage either way i reported the insurance (which was very unhelpful) to ca dept of the insurance and i asked them to repaint/prep the whole car and they decided to pay half of the cost which will proly cover the body work, also i got a gallon of paint that i got and mixed the other shop well do the body work and my friend will spray it.

it's only after reading those posts i realised that someone actually painted that trunk. LOL
on a sidenote do you really want to stick with those screws in your rocker cover. i have never seen that before and doubt it's any practical if you ever want to take those off
