Im putting it back together..heres a shot of how it is so far.

is that your kick down linkage behind the flash light??
someone in another thread was looking for a picture of one....
wonder if thats what they need

other than that... it looks good, and if you ever wanna trade your 4bbl carb and intake for a 2bbl factory, id be glad to help you out... ;-D

Very Nice. Makes me feel better about the G's im dropping building mine. Thanks for the light at the end of the tunnel!

The picture is kinda ****ty, I changed valves, painted engine and im in the process of closing it up! Was gonna finish this weekend but had no engine lube to sit the rockers back on. The manifold and carb are just sitting there, they are not bolted on yet.

Ill take some more pictures later in the week with my digital camera rather than the phone. I still have to wire brush the tranny clean as well. I hope all the gaskets sit properly and gasket silicone works, i hate that part about putting engines back together.

Oh and Joe, ummm, hmmm, nah ill keep the 4bbl But if you want, let me finish my engine, polish it up, and then ill trade you my 351 for a 289 or something

no bigger cam or anything? i still see stock springs and pressed in studs

very true. since you already had the timing cover off did you change the cam?

but then again. congratulations. I know how hard it is to source parts and having noone with a bit of knowledge about those engines around

changed cam as well with valves. Didnt change rockers or springs, that I can do later when the engine is back in. Wife would shoot me if I spent more money if you know what i mean.....
