That thing looks fantastic and I like the HW emblem more everytime I see it!

I would have driven it home in the rain and with no windshield, too. You get extra points on your man card for that move.

Wink

boog, great color and wheel choice. Your car has a cool contemporary look; very unique. Our fellow '69 owners should be proud of you.

The storm that clobbered us is mostly over AZ now, but there's still a few showers this weekend. As soon as the sun is back, make sure you park it outside for a day with the doors open.

Now all you have to do is get a humongous plastic track and set up a loop-de-loop behind the house.

Nice to hear it's finally back home. I do envy you guys that can drive your cars in Feb. All I can do is look at all the snow in front of the shop door..

I know tell me about it LCC. It has probably been one of the worst winters in a while in Alberta. It keeps repeating Hot then Cold, Hot then Cold. The roads are terrible..
I do wish I had a shop to work on my car as well, I lack some key tools and lately I have spent more money on tools then I have my car..
I think its time to invest in a trailer and hitch so in late spring I can roll the car out and get down to business

Make sure you get rid off all that rain water. Water could be down the doors and inside the open side markers and for sure sitting in the cowl. ( the interior too!). I would suggest a hair dryer or a leaf blower to make sure zero water was left behind from the jaunt home since the car will be sitting for a while during construction.

Good choice on the color. Every time I see the hot wheels logo, it grows on me more. What did you do with the engine compartment? Also did you paint the inside of the hood as well?
