anyone consider tinting their windows? In my town we have a high percentage of idiot ricers, homeless, and druggies at every stop sign and light.

You get a lot of thumbs up's from guys, I had a lady at a stop light one morning roll down the window and tell me it was beautiful, younger kids have told me nice car etc. from time to time.

There is a boy in my kids cub scout troop that will attack the Mustang on first sight and insist on sitting in it. I keep thinking I should offer to take him for a spin around the block sometime.

Mine isn't even really "that nice" and still more of a plain jane coupe that is a work in progress with dings and a dent, etc.

Dam near got in a wreck one time...I was driving with the window down sort of off in space and a dude pulled up beside me in a big pickup and honked the horn...scared the you know what out of me and dam near ran off the road....he only honked to get my attention to give me a thumbs up.

Edited to add...I only go to empty gas stations otherwise you will be there chatting about cars for a good extra 5 - 10 minutes and not a good thing if you are in a hurry.

My windows were tinted when I bought it but from the sounds of your town I would consider getting a concealed carry license and a 9 mm...too many car jackings in some places.

I don't take the Stang to those parts of town in my neck of the woods.
