Default Antenna Delete Kit

Anyone know where to get one? Are they the same thing as the hidden antenna kit from mustangs unlimited? My antenna is the 68 round base. Earlier this year my gf's cat, in an act of guerrilla warfare, broke the antenna while under a car cover. Naturally I was devastated. So I am resorted to techniques that will allow me to keep the car undamaged, while it is in storage.

Depending on how much you want to spend you could always use the power antenna kit.

Yeah, I wish it was that easy. I've been at war with this animal for the last year. There are so many claw scratches on my car its not even funny. Any idea how to get them out?

Depends on how deep they are. Meguiars ScratchX supposedly works with fine scratches.

I'm glad my antenna has two small set screws at the base. Loosen them and it pulls of leaving just a little ****. No problems with a car cover.

a lottle turtle wax and a soft cat hair cloth should do the trick. dont bother skinning the cat. just use some elbow grease

If your going to paint, i would (and did) weld a plate under the antenna hole and us filler to fill it in. Use an amplified antenna from there. The amplified antennas work great until you drive next to high powered tension lines you'll loose reception till you pass them.

Could try this http://www.ecshylites.citymax.com/page/page/761353.htm if you do remove your antenna don't use filler to fill the hole.Weld it up or fiberglass it.And tell your gf the cat ran away.
