new 68 project

Default new 68 project

just figured id post up some pictures of my new project 68 mustang, has the straig 6 in it for now but ive got a 351w im building to put in it, gunna upgrade the front suspension and all to handle the weight and gunna run either a 9" or a 8.8 rear

can't wait to see the finished product... although i'm not sure i'll still be alive by then

have fun with your project. i've always wanted to undertake a rebuild, just don't have the time or knowledge.

thanks guy yeah i know its definatly a project but ill have it running and all pretty soon, i figure over summer itll be driving, but body work will take a good while for me to do, i couldnt beat the price though...free lol

Dude, that thing can be done, no prob. Look at mine in the beginning. I would definitely go with a 9" rear though, since you're replacing it anyways. Nice find, since it was free!

yeah, overall its a pretty solid car, itll need floor pans, probably some patches in the trunk too and a few body patches but overall its real solid, yeah im trying to find a 9" the thing is i may be able to get a 8.8 for like under $50 so im thinkin ill just run that untill i can find a good deal on a 9", going to the swap meet this weekend to see what kinda parts i can pick up for it, what are yalls opinions on the front? should i jsut buy a aftermarket kit to upgrade the front susp. for the extra weight or just pieice to together my own?
