Never heard of such a thing. Are these like blinker fluid?

Maybe, but you have to figure out the purpose of your car. There are many aftermarket set ups for roll bars, roll cages, subframe connectors, unibody stiffeners, and even whole frames. If you are planning 900HP in a purpose built dragstang targeting sub-10's, then a full roll cage with at least enough frame tubing for solid tie points to your roll cage is in order. I don't think that is where you are going, so they are not worth it. If you are really worried about frame twisting and your safety, put a 4 point roll bar with a couple of simple subframe connectors and you will be good to go. You can add door bars to really tie the front and rear sub frames together, but they are a pain to crawl over and the detachable ones aren't worth much of anything.

I never get it when they say removable or detachable parts of a roll cage, or bolt in subframe connectors. Do they really do anything if bolted in? I understand the reasoning for easier install, but it seems you would definitely sacrifice strength.

im actually thinking of putting in a roll cage so i can run track days, and quick 1/4 miles.

i would want to do something like the tiger cage, but get it welded in and custom built.

I want a cage too. For safety purposes though. Will put one in after the supercharger is installed.
