Yes it is glued to the backing of the kit.

I've replaced the carpet in my previos Mustang and this one as well. No need for screws or glue as mentioned above. I bought my carpet from Mustangs Unlimited and it fit perfectly. It definitely helps to lay it out. Take your time especially around the shift lever. Depending on how you plan on using the car you can buy different kits for the sound deadning.

rst08tierney, if it's not too much trouble, could you post a few more pics of the carpeted trunk with a few different angles. I ask only because I was looking to buy a full trunk carpet kit from Mustang Depot since they claimed to sell the only ENTIRE trunk kit available. Unfortunately, they want close to $300!! I just wanted to see how far up the carpet came on the side of the trunk walls.... Also, how is the trunk carpet held in there?

Since people are asking about insulation and sound deadening, I just finished sound deadening my entire car with damplifier pro from Second Skin and it has made such a difference in noise in the cabin. I can actually have a conversation with the person next to me while sitting over 40 series mufflers. It's just like that dynamatting stuff but cheaper. I did the trunk as well and that made the biggest difference. Well worth the cost and time that it took to install! I would post pictures if I was allowed....

Yeah NPD's carpet price has jumped to 225.95 plus UPS oversized charges! Cal-Mustang has it for about 190.00 shipped.

I have 160 sq/ft of SecondSkin Damplifier Pro sound matting installed which will also include a layer of their Luxury Liner Pro followed by the carpet.

I'm picking up the black carpet from Home Depot for use in the trunk when the time comes later this summer.

btw ACC currently has a 25% sale on their products. Thats 173.02 shipped. Beats any other current price I've found.

Just for giggles give Mustangmania.com a call. I swear I only paid $120-130 for the ACC kit.
