I am going to need a radiator for my car since I am swaping from a 6 to an 8. I was wondering if anybody has used a radiator from any other car. Don't really want to spend $250 for a radiator right now. I am going to go and look around at a junk yard to see if I can find one that will work in there. I am installing 90 5.0 in there, I tried the fox radiator but it is a little to wide and too tall. Just thought I would ask. I measured and I have 30 in x 17 in to work with. Would I need a 2,3,4 row for the v8? I should also look into getting one from a v8 right? While I am there I am going to look for an electric fan from a 92 taurus. Will let you all know what I find.

 

Don't know if I'd buy an old radiator out of a junkyard. If I did, I'd take it to a radiator shop for cleaning. By the time you do that, you can almost afford a new $179 generic aluminum unit.
