Question electric fuel pump setup

It's been a long time since I've been on here but I'm sure you guys are probably still as helpful as you were before. I'm doing the EFI conversion in my 72' and I'
m setting up the fuel system and I'm trying to decide what feul pump to get for it. my original plan was to have 2 in sequence with eachother. One, a small 10 psi pump, just outside of the gas tank and then one a little further down, a much stronger psi, to deliver the fuel. i was going to put the smaller one just outside of the tank because it won't have an internal pump and then go to thinking if 2 was even necessary? Your thoughts?

This is one that I was looking at for the larger one...

I don't have experience with that particular pump, but I've been pretty happy with the Summit branded items I've purchased. There customer service is excellent and have always taken anything back that I wasn't completely happy with.

One of the risks of buying an electric fuel pump is the noise. I've had a couple Holley red (low pressure) pumps and they were very noisy. For my EFI, I have a Walbro 190LPH inline pump and it is pleasantly quiet, though twice as expensive as the pump you listed which is about 160lph.

I'm not sure of any benefit you would get from two filters inline without any of the plumbing that James lists in his site. While I don't doubt that some have experienced starvation with a low fuel tank, I've not experienced it with a single inline pump. You may want to try a single pump first and see how it works. If you have problems, you aren't out any money on parts. One more thing is that you'll want to figure out how you're going to plumb the fuel lines. Depending how you do it, you may need different fittings for that pump. I'm using nylon lines and Ford fittings which I got from Ron Morris Performance. Spendy, but works well.
