Default Upper control arm drop

this is the shelby drop right?? and does this look like a good price or should i make my own from my house? http://www.mustangdepot.com/OnLineCa...wering-jig.htm and which one should i get the 3.75 spacing or 4.75 spacing? thanks and does this really help like people make it out to be? and also what exactly does it do. does the ride height change? i would assume it would lower it. thanks

Woah....that is ridiculously expensive.

If you want to buy one, buy from Day $25.99 SHIPPED. That comes with the drill bit.

Not only is that a crap price, it is a crap template! You can't just start drilling with a 17/32" or 1/2" drill bit. You need to start small. Dazed's set up comes with the original upper arm holes already drilled and full size. You bolt it right in place on your car. The new lower holes, however, are only 1/8". This way you can drill a precise 1/8" starting hole in the car. You not be able to do this with that template with the giant hole. Just try to manually find the center for your first holes!

BTW, the smaller size is for 65/66 and the larger for 67-70.

+1

The pilot holes in Dazed's template made the drop a walk in the park.

Not trying to steal the thread but does anybody have any before and after pics of the ride height change? Also, how does it affect the alignment specs?

I'd appreciate it BA,
Off topic, but are you going to bring back the thread about the 45th anniversary?
