Default Mustang Withdrawals

Over a week since I moved my mustang outta the garage to get ready for open house. Even when I wasn't working on it, it was nice to know it was ou there. Hopefully this house will sell soon and I can look for a house with a THREE-CAR GARAGE [sm=burnout.gif]

Any way, a bit off-topic, but this is how our house looks after two weeks of work. My wife and I moved 13 1/2 tons of dirt with a shovel and a wheelbarrow. Then moved in over 4 tons of river rock and 4 tons of red rock with a landscaper friend of mine. Repainted the patio, garage walls, garage floors, garage door and driveway/sidewalk. **WHEW**

And in case you think I am lying about the 13 rons of rock...here ya go. This is 2 feet deep of rocks and boulders.

Back on Topic:

Anyway, I know Glen goes through withdrawals with his mustang being many miles away. DO any of you others have "limited time" with your ride and miss it too?

I can't wait until we can get a three car garage and me and my mustang are reunited again!! [sm=love.gif]

I still live with my parents and will be moving out to live in my own house, but it doesnt have a garage. So my mom wont put up with me leaving my stang in the other half of our garage when I'm gone. But I was able to work it out with a friend of mine to allow me to put my car in his shop, which has a hydraulic lift, which is really nice. However, I cant just go out in to the garage and work on her, I have to now drive 10 minutes, with my tools. But like I said I have more room now. So it has its ups and downs.[:-]

Is your car running or is it still in "project mode"?

The engine is built, and on a stand, there's no front suspension, and no rear end at all, and theres still alot i have to do to the body along the lines of sheet metal.

So Its in project mode.

Thanks moving the rock was two days in itself. My house has been in disarray for two weeks now. Life should be back to normal today (just before the open house)

Mine is in project mode as well. My car is at my friends house, the engine block is on a stand in a corner of my garage for now. By the way for those of you who may not know, I was able to use my AAA card and they towed it for me, no extra charge (It's not just for emergencies in other words) [sm=smiley20.gif]

Depends on the towing company that is contracted with AAA. They used a flatbed to pick mine up cuz I told them I didn't want a front-end lifter with the driveline and exhaust being tied up under the car. The lady I spoke to on the 800 number was cool and said she loved 1969 mustangs and old muscle cars too

I htink what I'll end up having to do is put the suspension on then, spindles, hubs, then wheels, but thats alot of work to move it then take it all off again.
