AOD Clicking when in Park

Default AOD Clicking when in Park

Ok so when I put my car in Park, if it is on a hill I can hear it clicking and it won't stay put, any ideas what this is. Besides this the trani has no problems, thanks for the help guys. 67 Mustang 351 W with AOD Behind it

the tranny is not fully engaging into park. you need to adjust your shift linkage so that the lever goes all the way into park.

Wow I will go check that right now, it just started happening but it may have come loose, will update on progress shortly, and if so won't I be the dumb one.

Hurry up before you burn up the tranny. Try not to drive it until it's fixed.

Just fixed it, I have driven it for quite awhile and it just started happening. Everything seems fine now , I think the rubber swivel piece on the linkage just broke in as the setup is new. Something I have not noticed though until after I moved the linkage was it sparked a few times when I put it in gear, never had that problem before any ideas on this?

There was a couple sparks when my gear selector metal piece was lifted from the grooves that stops my shifter. I don't have a cover on my shifter yet, that is why I was able to see it.
